Why you can't get one in Egypt.
Swatch operates retail in Egypt, but none of the local stores were given Royal Pop allocation. The collection launched in a tight selection of Swatch flagship boutiques across Europe, the United States, Japan, and a handful of Asian cities. The closest stocking countries to Egypt are France, Spain, and Italy, where Swatch flagships in Paris, Barcelona, Milan, and Rome saw the launch queues. For an Egyptian buyer this means flying to Europe, asking a friend abroad to queue, or working with a sourcing service. We do the third option full time. Our team queues in person at Swiss, French, Italian, and Spanish boutiques, buys at retail, and forwards the watch to your address in Egypt.
How our sourcing service works.
You pick a colorway on https://swatchroyalpop.com/shop and pay through our Stripe checkout in EUR. Card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay all work from Egyptian-issued cards. If the colorway is already in our Vienna inventory, we pack and dispatch within one business day. If it needs to be sourced, our team queues at the next boutique drop in Europe, secures the piece at retail, and ships once it lands in Vienna. Every watch comes with the original Swatch box, papers, and proof of boutique purchase. You receive a tracking number the moment the parcel leaves our office, and we stay reachable by email and WhatsApp through the full delivery window.
Shipping to Egypt.
We ship to Egypt via DHL Express. Transit time from Vienna to Cairo is usually seven to ten business days including customs clearance. Egyptian customs will assess import duty plus VAT on the declared value, and DHL handles the paperwork on your behalf. The duties are paid by you on delivery, not added to the cart. We declare the watch at the price you actually paid, with a copy of the Swatch boutique invoice, so the assessment is straightforward. Parcels are insured for the full purchase value. If a piece is held longer than expected at Cairo customs, we stay in contact with DHL on your side until it clears.
