Lock Your Option

Pay €100. Skip the queue.

€100 — flat, always — buys a guaranteed right to receive one Royal Pop colorway at official Swatch retail (whatever Swatch sets it at on release day). We do the rest — source the watch, handle Stripe checkout, ship it worldwide after the May 16th drop. The option fee never rises. The market price after release will. On drop day we sell remaining inventory directly on this site at market price — but option holders are notified first and their watch is guaranteed. Non-refundable.

Why the option?

Three reasons to lock it.

Guaranteed allocation

On May 16th the shelves empty in minutes. Your option is your name on a numbered piece — already set aside.

Shipped to your door

We dispatch worldwide via tracked courier after the drop. No boutique trip, no queues, no travel pivot.

Stripe checkout

Pay in seconds with card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or SEPA. Hosted by Stripe — we never see your card details.

The catch

Our option fee is flat.
The watch price isn't.

€100 buys an option contract — a held allocation in your colorway and the right to receive the watch at official Swatch retail (whatever Swatch sets it at on release day). We handle the sourcing. After the drop you can still buy direct on this site, but at floating market price. The longer you wait, the more the watch costs. Your option fee doesn't.

Same site, sourced from secondary. Price moves with scarcity — we pass it through.

The option fee is always €100. You pay nothing else to us for the option itself. The watch is invoiced separately at official Swatch retail when we ship — we source the piece at that retail. What rises after release is the open market. Locking the option now is the only way to guarantee a numbered allocation in your colorway at retail.

May 16th 2026

Two ways to buy.
One of them is guaranteed.

On release day we open the same Royal Pop inventory to two audiences from this site. Option holders go first; everyone else goes second, at whatever the market is doing by then.

  1. First wave · 09:00 CET

    Option holders

    • · Email + SMS notification before public sale opens.
    • · Numbered piece in your colorway is already held in your name.
    • · Watch ships within 48 hours at official Swatch retail — we source it.
    • · Nothing left to do but confirm shipping.
  2. Second wave · public sale

    Direct buyers

    • · Same site, no option contract, no waitlist.
    • · Stock = whatever option holders left behind.
    • · Price floats with the market — no retail lock.
    • · First-come, first-served. No guarantee on colorway.
How it works

Four steps. No surprises.

  1. 01

    Pay via Stripe

Flat €100 option fee for the colorway you want, paid through Stripe's hosted checkout. Locks your allocation; we source the watch at official Swatch retail.

  2. 02

    We hold your piece

A numbered Royal Pop is set aside in your name and held through the May 16th release window.

  3. 03

    We ship it to you

After the drop, we dispatch your watch via tracked international courier. Stripe handles the watch's retail invoice; we email a tracking link.

  4. 04

    The fee is the fee

The €100 is the option fee itself — separate from the watch's retail price. Non-refundable. Forfeited if not exercised.

Common questions

What people actually ask.

Plain answers about the option contract, the €100 fee, shipping, and our affiliation with the brands.

What is the Royal Pop AP × Swatch option fee?
+
The Royal Pop option fee is a flat €100 paid via Stripe that buys two things: (1) a guaranteed numbered allocation in your chosen colorway from the 8-piece Audemars Piguet × Swatch Royal Pop drop and (2) the right to receive that watch at its official Swatch retail price on or after May 16th 2026 — we source it for you. The retail price is set by Swatch at release. The €100 fee is a financial option contract, not a deposit, and is non-refundable if not exercised.
Is the €100 deposit refundable?
+
No. The €100 is an option fee, not a deposit. It is non-refundable and is not credited against the watch's retail price. If you do not complete the watch purchase, the €100 is forfeited. This is the cost of the locked allocation and the right to receive the watch at official retail.
Does the option fee rise the longer I wait?
+
No. The option fee is always €100. What rises is the watch's market price after the May 16th 2026 release date. Direct sales on this site after the drop are priced at market value and have no option contract attached.
When and how is the watch shipped?
+
After the May 16th 2026 release, your numbered Royal Pop is dispatched from our fulfillment hub via tracked insured international courier to the shipping address you provided at checkout. A tracking link is emailed once your piece leaves the hub. Import duties and taxes for destinations outside the EU may apply at delivery.
Is Royal Pop affiliated with Audemars Piguet or Swatch?
+
No. Royal Pop is an independent reservation service with no commercial relationship with Audemars Piguet SA or The Swatch Group AG. Every watch is purchased by us at full Swatch retail in-person from Swatch's boutique network and resold under the option-contract framework. All trademarks and marketing imagery remain the property of their respective owners.
How is the option fee processed?
+
All payments — the €100 option fee at lock-in and the retail invoice on dispatch — are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe supports card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and SEPA at checkout.
What happens on May 16th 2026?
+
On the worldwide release date (May 16th 2026), Swatch sells the Royal Pop in-person only at roughly 200 boutiques — one piece per person per store per day, with no online sales and no AP boutique stock. We open allocation on this site in two waves. First wave at 09:00 CET: option holders are notified by email and SMS, their numbered watch is already held in their name (sourced by us from those boutiques), and dispatch begins within 48 hours at locked Swatch retail. Second wave: any remaining inventory is sold directly on this site without an option contract, at floating market price.
Do option holders get priority on drop day?
+
Yes. Option holders are notified first — before public sale opens on May 16th 2026 — and their watch is already physically allocated to them. There is no race, no refresh-hell, no queue. Direct buyers without an option contract only receive whatever inventory remains after option holders' watches have shipped, and at floating market price.
Can I still buy a Royal Pop without the option?
+
Yes. After the May 16th 2026 release date you can buy the watch directly on this site without an option contract. Direct sales draw from whatever stock remains after option holders are served. Direct-sale prices are not locked to the official retail price; they float with the open market. The option contract exists specifically to insulate you from both that price climb and the inventory uncertainty.
Will I be notified when the watch is available?
+
Yes. Option holders receive a notification email and SMS on May 16th 2026 at 09:00 CET — before public sale opens — confirming that the numbered piece in their colorway is ready to ship. Direct buyers without an option contract can subscribe to a separate release alert; first-come, first-served at market price, while supply lasts.
The fine print

It's not a deposit. It's an option contract.

The €100 you pay is the price of the option itself — your guaranteed right to purchase one specific Royal Pop colorway during the May 16th release window.

If you exercise the option and buy the watch, the €100 is the cost of the certainty you bought. If you don't buy the watch, the €100 is forfeited. It is not refunded. It is not credited. There is no exception.

What you're paying for is the elimination of risk: no queue, no drop-day chaos, no missed allocation, no flight to Le Brassus that ends in disappointment. We ship the watch to your door once it drops. That certainty has a price, and today the price is €100.

If that trade doesn't make sense to you, don't buy the option. Show up on May 16th and take your chances with everyone else.

May 16th is coming

Don't gamble. Lock the option.

Eight colorways. One drop day. Your option holds your piece while the rest of the world refreshes.
