Why you can't get one in Costa Rica.
Costa Rica is one of the smaller markets in Central America, and Swatch did not include it in the Royal Pop allocation. The stores in Multiplaza Escazú, Lincoln Plaza, and City Mall all carry standard Swatch product, but none stock the AP collaboration. The closest stocking countries are Mexico and the United States. Mexico sells out within hours of restock, which is why most regional buyers end up sourcing from Europe through us. We queue at the European boutiques in Paris, Milan, Madrid, Barcelona, Zurich, and Geneva on launch days, buy at retail, and ship to your address in Costa Rica. You pay retail plus service fee plus shipping plus local customs.
How our sourcing service works.
Pick your colorway on https://swatchroyalpop.com/shop and pay in EUR through Stripe. Costa Rican Visa and Mastercard cards work for international transactions, and Apple Pay is supported. If the colorway is in our Vienna stock we ship the next business day. If it has to be sourced, we add you to the queue for the next European boutique drop and ship from Vienna once it arrives. Every order comes with the original Swatch box, the official papers, and a copy of the boutique receipt. You get DHL tracking when the parcel leaves, and we stay reachable by email and WhatsApp throughout.
Shipping to Costa Rica.
We ship to Costa Rica via DHL Express. Transit from Vienna to San José is usually seven to fourteen business days, including customs clearance. Costa Rican customs applies import duty plus sales tax on the declared value, and DHL collects the amount from you on delivery. We declare the real purchase price with the Swatch boutique invoice attached, so the assessment is clean. Parcels are fully insured. If anything is delayed at Juan Santamaría customs we stay in contact with DHL on your side until the watch clears.
